In fixx there are various types of users which are supported. Each of them differ in the functionality which they provide. Before you create a user profile please read the following descriptions to help you decide which users you would like to create.

Administrators

Administrators in fixx have full control over all projects, issues, users, etc. The following list details the functionality of the administrator role.

  1. View the dashboard and make full use of monitoring the activity progress in fixx.
  2. Create and view all projects and issues.
  3. Interact with issues by commenting, attaching files, editing, tagging, etc.
  4. Create and manage user profiles.

This role will be best allocated to a project manager.

Regular User

Regular users of fixx can fully interact with the system apart from the administration section which allows you to create and manage projects and users. The following list details the functionality of the regular user role.

  1. View the dashboard and make full use of monitoring the activity progress in fixx.
  2. View all projects.
  3. View and create issues.
  4. Interact with issues by commenting, attaching files, editing, tagging, etc.

This role will be best allocated to a developer.

Public User

Note: A public user can only use the system if fixx is running in "Public" mode.

Public users of fixx can view and interact with issues and projects. The following list details the functionality of the regular user role.

  1. View the dashboard and make full use of monitoring the activity progress in fixx.
  2. View all projects and issues.
  3. Interact with issues by commenting, attaching files, tagging and watching.

This role will be best allocated to a general user.

Client

Client users of fixx are assigned to projects to monitor the issues assigned to it. The following list details the functionilty of the client user role.

  1. View all issues for a project they are assigned to.
  2. They are able to comment and attach files to an issue.
  3. They can also watch issues to monitor their progress as well as see who else is watching issues.

This role will be best allocated to a company or client of a project.
