User Profiles
You are able to manage all of your profile settings in this section.
- Click the 'profile' text at the very top of the screen.
- A form will now appear consisting of 4 sections.
- The first section is consists of your main account details. Enter your 'First name', 'Last name' and you must provide a 'Username' and 'E-mail'.
- The second section will enable you to change your password. Enter your new 'Password' and then confirm it by entering it again.
- The third section is 'Optional Information', it is upto you whether you want to provide an 'OpenID', Phone number or Web-site or blog for your profile.
- Click on the 'Save profile changes' button.
- It is optional to provide a photograph for your profile. If you choose to do so then browse for the image and then click on the 'Upload photo' button.
This section describes how to add a user in fixx so that they can particpate in fixx.
- Click the 'Administration' tab situated along the top of the screen.
- Click the 'Users' tab in the sub-navigation.
- Click the 'Create new user' button situated in the right panel of the screen.
- A form will now appear. Firstly type in a 'Username' for the user as well as provide an 'Email' address.
- Now enter a 'Password' for the user and then confirm it by entering it again.
- Now select the 'Type of user' you would like this new user to be from the list provided - 'administrator', 'regular', 'public' and 'client'. To understand more about the different user roles in fixx then please click here
- It is also optional to provide a 'First name', 'Last name', 'Phone number' and a 'Web-site or Blog' address for the user.
- Click the 'Create new user' button. The new user will be saved and added to fixx.
This section describes how to downgrade your user account to a regular account.
Note: you can only downgrade yourself - you cant downgrade other admins, if you want to become admin again you will have to contact another administrator to do this.
- Click the 'Administration' tab situated along the top of the screen.
- Click the 'Users' tab in the sub-navigation.
- Click on the name or picture of your profle.
- A form will now appear. Underneath this form there will be a check box titled 'Downgrade me to a normal user'.
- Click on the 'Update' button.
This section describes how to manage a user profile.
- Navigate to the user profile which you would like to edit. Click here to find out how to do this.
- Click on the name or picture of this profile.
- A form will appear which will consist of pre-filled fields containing the already stored details. Edit the required fields.
- Click the 'Update' button. The user profile will be saved with this new data.

- Click the 'Administration' tab situated along the top of the screen.
- Click the 'Users' tab in the sub-navigation.
- A list of user profiles will appear.
This section will describe how you can find a specific user in fixx.
- Click the 'Administration' tab situated along the top of the screen.
- Click the 'Users' tab in the sub-navigation.
- There is a search box situated in the main view with a 'Find user(s)' button. Enter your keywords (username, etc) into this box and click on the 'Find user(s)' button.
- A new view will appear displaying the results of your search.
This section describes how to disable a user account so that they are inactive from fixx and cannot participate in fixx.
- Navigate to the user which you would like to disable the account of. Click here to find out how to do this.
- Click on the name or picture of this user.
- A form will appear which will consist of pre-filled fields containing the stored data.
- In the right panel of the screen, there are a list of actions for the user. Click on the 'Disable account' text.
- A confirmation message will appear at the top of the form notfiying you that the account has been disabled.
- The 'Disable account' text will now change to 'Enable account'.
- To enable this account at any time follow these steps again and click the 'Enable account' text.
- A confirmation message will appear at the top of the form notfiying you that the account has been enabled.
This section describes how to delete a user from fixx.
- Navigate to the user which you would like to delete from fixx. Click here to find out how to do this.
- Click on the name or picture of the user which you would like to delete.
- A form will appear which will consist of pre-filled fields containing the stored data.
- In the right panel of the screen, there are a list of actions for the user. Click on the 'Delete' text.
- The user will now be removed from fixx.
This section describes how to delete a client from fixx.
- Navigate to the client which you would like to delete from fixx. Click here to find out how to do this.
- Click on the name or picture of the client which you would like to delete.
- A form will appear which will consist of pre-filled fields containing the stored data.
- In the right panel of the screen, there are a list of actions for the client. Click on the 'Delete' text.
- The client will now be removed from fixx.
This section describes how you change a users profile to an administration role in fixx.
Note: You can only upgrade a regular user in fixx.
- Navigate to the user which you would like to upgrade to administrator.
- Click on the name or picture of the user which you would like to upgrade.
- A form will appear. Underneath this form there will be a check box titled 'Upgrade to Administrator'.
- Click on the 'Update' button.
This section describes how to manage a client profile.
- Navigate to the user profile which you would like to edit. Click here to find out how to do this.
- Click on the name or picture of this profile.
- A form will appear which will consist of pre-filled fields containing the already stored details. Edit the required fields.
- Click the 'Update' button. The user profile will be saved with this new data.
This section describes how to view a list of all of the client profiles in fixx.
- Click the 'Administration' tab situated along the top of the screen.
- Click the 'Clients' tab in the sub-navigation.
- A list of client profiles will appear.
This section enables you to add clients to a project, this will allow the client to view projects and issues and monitor them and participate.
- To add a client, select the one you want from the available list
- Click the 'Add' button next to this field. The client will now be saved and associated to the project.
